Have you got a coat you no longer need which could help the homeless and vulnerable keep warm this winter?
For an eighth year running Wrap up London is collecting coats at some tube stations and giving them to charities that support the homeless, refugees, children living in poverty and people fleeing domestic violence.’
Collections take place from today (November 12th) until Wednesday November 14th at Kings Cross, Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Victoria and Waterloo.

You can also deliver to Safestore locations until November 23.
Since it’s launch, Wrap Up London has collected and distributed more than 102,000 coats to more than 100 charities including the British Red Cross, St Mungos, Shelter and the Women’s Pioneer Project and Crisis.
A network of 4,000 volunteers helps make sure things run smoothly.
The campaign was set up by Elizabeth Grier-Menager, who works in finance, after she volunteered with a similar not-for-profit whilst living in New York.
She received the Point of Light Award from David Cameron in 2014 in honour of her kindness.
She said: “For someone at a women’s refuge in Brixton, for example, it meant the difference between going to an interview with warmth and dignity, and not going at all. And for 35 homeless people at the Hackney Road Project, having a winter coat was one less thing to worry about during what was a bitterly cold winter.”
Wrap Up London is run by the registered charity Hands On London which offers volunteering opportunities with third sector organisations at projects such as soup kitchens, food banks, older people’s projects and community farms.
