Auction of rainbow bins to brighten children’s Christmas
Stoke Newington’s most photographed bins* are being auctioned to raise funds for the Winter Toy Appeal. Owned by interior designer Anna Shepherd, these rainbow bins are constantly catching the eye of passers by on Kynaston Road and people often ask if they can buy them.
Anna said: “The bins have really brightened up the street and they get a lot of attention. Now it’s time for them to brighten up someone else’s garden and, if we can raise some money to buy new gifts for children in poverty this winter then they will be the coolest bins in town! Bins this colourful belong together so we’re auctioning them as one job lot!”
To bid for the bins, email team@localbuyersclub.com with the amount you’d like to offer. Please include the words 'bid for bins' in the subject header. The closing date to bid is Tuesday December 8th and updates on how high the bidding is will be posted on the Local Buyers Instagram and Facebook pages.
The Local Buyers Club is donating £10 to the Toy Appeal for every new member who signs up using the code TOYAPPEAL10.(Membership is £12 a year, Click here to join).
