Draught Drop: Zero-waste party packs launched in time for Christmas
House parties just got a whole lot better as a draught beer delivery firm launches its Party Drop service.
Draught Drop, affectionately referred to as “the milkman for beer”, delivers draught beer to your door (emission free) in reusable glass bottles. Once you’ve drunk it, rinse and book a return or swap for a freshly filled one on your next delivery.
The Party Drop offers four bottles (each 3.3 pints) selected from one of Draught Drop’s partner breweries – including East London Brewing Co., Hackney Brewery, Signature Brew, Boxcar, Two Tribes, Redemption Brewing and Neckstamper Brewing. The special selection will feature a variety of IPA’s and pale ales including a Hazy, Session and West Coast, as well as a lager.
Co-founder Mellanie Struthers said, “Our mission to deliver beer in a way that’s good for the planet is even more important around Christmas. There’s a lot of extra waste produced over the festive period and by providing a zero-waste alternative for beer we could save tons of single use bottles as well as cans from landfill!”
Co-founder, Tom Struthers, said, “We work with the best craft breweries in North & East London and what better time to showcase their beers than at Christmas. We want people to discover the local breweries that are available to them, right on their doorstep.”
The “Party Drop” costs £65, which works out at just a shade over a fiver per pint. Delivery is free on your first drop with the code MILKMAN4BEER.
