Twisted Fork conjures up more events

A popular magic café in Stoke Newington is expanding its programme of events.
The Twisted Fork, which launched on the High Street as the world’s first magic themed coffee bar in the summer of 2018, is shifting its focus to parties, workshops and shows.
The coffee bar will continue to trade on limited hours, offering cakes, coffee and magic between 10am and 6pm from Thursday through till Sunday, closing occasionally for private events.
Founder Rich Clark said: “The parties and shows have proved such a success that we want to expand that side of the business. We have so much fun running events here – the place is packed and there’s always a lot of demand for the workshops we run for children and for adults.
“We’ll continue serving our amazing Cameroon Boyo coffee and welcoming the public – for those travelling from further afield to see us, we’d suggest calling ahead to check our opening times that day.”
Private hire, party packages and evening shows
The Twisted Fork offers a range of private hire and party packages for both adult and kids parties, with options including a magic show, balloon modelling, buffet, drinks, cake and party bags on offer. They’re also an agency – linking locals up with talented magicians for special events such as weddings and corporate occasions.
On Thursday February 6 illusionist and comedic alternative magician Sean Heydon will be performing from 7pm. Book tickets via the Twisted Fork website.
Their magic school is a 90 minute workshop teaching the tricks of the trade and the business also offers one-to-one magic personal tuition for budding magicians of all ages.
