Kickstarter campaign for Stroud Green roof terrace
A new roof terrace restaurant could be on the cards for Stroud Green thanks to a Kickstarter campaign by Goods Office.
The popular restaurant next to Parkland Walk has been running for three years and hopes to improve its offering. They’re hoping to raise £20,000 to help create a terrace with space for 42 people at tables around a fire pit.
The Kickstarter states: “This space will be one of the very few opportunities to dine alfresco in our area – and the enormous retractable awning and heaters will mean that you can still sit outside if it’s cold and rainy!
“This was a project that we had always hoped to do, but given last year’s challenges we realised it was now something we had to do for our community so people felt they could continue to visit and dine with us safely.”
The project is expected to cost around £100,000, with the Kickstarter funding 20%.
Local Buyers Club members save 15% on food and drink at Goods Office.
Among the rewards offered to supporters of the Kickstarter (depending on the level of donation they give) are afternoon tea on the roof terrace, a cocktail named after you, dinner for six on opening night, limited edition tote bags, coffee on the terrace when it opens and your name on the donor wall.
